Operate the plant as per standard operating procedure and Shift Foreman/Supervisor's instructions

  • Operates and controls electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of raw water into treating plant.
  • Check visually the status of Inlet bar Screen, remove the floating material such as rags, paper, debris etc.
  • Monitoring Inlet flow, RAS/WAS flow, Aeration tank, Clarifier, Filters, Effluent quality, Chlorine /polymer dosing system, and related areas,
  • Monitor PLC/SCADA and adjusts controls to regulate flow rates, and operating machine
  • Follow up the chemical dosing as per instruction and visually check the product quality
  • Collecting the sample and send to laboratory for analysis
  • Maintain records of the operations activities, filling the appropriate log sheets
  • Enquiring with Laboratory reports after sampling to be ensure efficient smooth plant operation
  • Write routine and nonroutine actions and incidents on logbook
  • Handle Client's representative in conjunction with any visit
  • Perform general maintenance works on equipment as per preventive maintenance schedule
  • Call for assistance in case of inability to trouble shoot the problem
  • Proper handover duty to next shift operator with written instruction of all activities Immediately inform to Foreman, if any abnormal condition observed
  • Attend operational and HSE training as per schedule conduct by Superior
  • To comply with all applicable legal and HSE requirements/procedures
  • General housekeeping to be maintained round the clock
  • Experience on hand 20,000 cubic meter

Pay:
Up to QAR3,000.00 per month


Experience:


  • STP Operator: 3 years (preferred)
