Assumes full responsibility for full cycle payroll of the employees.- Makes changes to employee payroll data, such as address and deduction changes. Maintains payroll records, complies with policies.
- Ensures timekeeping hours are correct before entering them into the payroll software for payment.
- Reviews Coding for hours, such as regular, overtime and vacation.
- Handles timekeeping, prints pay checks and recordkeeping duties.
- Processes and reconciles payroll to the general ledger.
- Compiles payroll data, and enters data or computes and posts wages, and reconciles errors, to maintain payroll records, using Microsoft Excel.
- Records changes affecting leave usage and net wages for example exemptions, loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records.
- Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
- Maintains and appropriately retains records of leave pay.
- Prepares and issue pay checks, including final pay checks covering special agreements.
- Prepares confidential payroll reports.
- Prepares and/or analyzes periodic payroll reports, payroll schedules, and payroll related journal entries using established policies, procedures, and guidelines on a timely manner.
- Analyzes payroll reports, statements, records and making recommendations to improve payroll process.
- Prepares and/or reviews the accuracy of payroll related journal entries and performs account reconciliation and analysis while ensuring supporting documentation is accurate.
- Assists/coordinates audit of payroll accounting statements/reports.
- Coordinates payroll matters with other departments, locations, and business units.
- Prepares leave settlement, personal loan request and salary increment letter of the employees.
- Responsible for ticket bookings and opening pay cards for the employees.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- With at least 2 years of experience in payroll processing and in any accounting field.
- Has good analytical skills.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
- Must be flexible and willing to extend beyond office time.
- Preferably single and at least 25 years old.
