The mainresponsibilities of the Junior Accountant wouldentail:
Daily bookkeeping of invoices, expenses, andpayments
Assisting with managing the inflow and outflow ofcash
Bankreconciliation and accountsreconciliation
Documenting and maintaining records of bills, payments, invoices,etc
Be anintegral part of the monthly closing of the financialstatements
Assisting the audit team with year-end closing, VAT submission, andrelatedactivities
In additionto the above, you may be required to assist the finance &accounting team with Adhocrequests
Requirements
Requirements
What are welooking for?
Bachelors degree in Accounting orFinance
Proven experience as an accountant, 1-3years
Proficient knowledge of accounting principles andpractices
Proficient knowledge of VAT filing regulations in theregion
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel ismandatory
Previous experience with Zoho Books is aplus
Excellent organization skills and attention todetail
Eagerto learn and afast-worker
Ability to work independently andcollaboratively
Able to join immediatelypreferred
Job Skills Job Specifications Bachelor s or master s degree in tax,accounting, or finance Minimum 4-5 years experience inaccounting/finance Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiaritywith relevant accounting software Ability to speak effectively withcustomers, vendors and employees at all level within theorganization. Work with minimum supervision and able to work underpressure efficiently. Strong organizational skills. Attentive todetails. Energetic and self-starter.
