Due to aforecasted increase in a portfolio of projects, we are seekingSenior Project Manager Transport Planning, to be an integral partof the transport planning growth strategy in Qatar.

As Senior Project ManagerPublic Transport Planning, you will be in a position to develop andgrow the transport Planning business in Qatar.

You will be a manageprojects and perform technical work that involves conventionaltransportation planning and/or traffic engineering practices, and avariety of complex issues such as transportation safety, multimodalplanning, and innovative technologies.

Primary job responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

• Overseeand manage a comprehensive public transport master plan for a cityor region.
• Manage large transportation planning studiesincluding multimodal corridor planning studies, Planning andEnvironmental Linkages Studies, and Transportation Master Plans.
• Manage projects that include traffic simulation andcapacity analysis as a primary task.
• Coordinate andparticipate in contract negotiations with clients andsubconsultants.
• Conduct quality control reviews.
• As a project manager, monitor scopes, schedules, andbudgets, and review and approve invoicing.
• Maintainfrequent contact with clients and regulatory agency personnel todetermine their respective needs and requirements.
• Supervise other project managers, technical professionals and otherdesign staff.
• Mentor junior staff through projects andcareer development.

Here s What You ll Need:
As a successfulcandidate you will be degree qualified in engineering or planning.
Experience in project production and technical professionalactivities and working as a project manager.

• ManagedPublic Transport Master Plan studies.
• Speaking Arabicand English.
• Transportation planning and/or trafficengineering background required.
• Experience with trafficsimulation and travel demand forecasting software programs.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor scopes, schedules, andbudgets, manage subconsultants, and review and approve invoicinginterest as a project manager.
• Understanding of transit,bicycle, and pedestrian planning and design principals.
• Proven ability to develop high quality work products.

Solid business development skills:
demonstrated ability to relatewell to clients, demonstrated presentation skills, and ability towrite proposals,

• Private sector experience is desired.

Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of ateam.

• You will be experienced in client facing with goodcommunication, marketing, sales and leadership skills.
