Role & Responsibilities:
Overseestimely and effective execution of civil construction / plantmodification works at Ras Laffan gas plant and facilities. Ensuresthe works are carried out in accordance with projectspecifications, relevant policies and procedures, method statementsand project schedules.

Plans and coordinates the activities andresources at the construction site to ensure effective coordinationand supervision of construction / modification project works ofexcavation, back filling, dewatering, bar bending, farm works,concreting, protection, structural works, etc.related to onshoreand offshore.

Interfaces and coordinates closely withsubcontractors teams to monitor effective progress of constructionsite activities. Prepares updates on weekly progress, resourcerequirements, material CRDs, drawings & documentsavailability, and schedule look-ahead, etc. and reports anyimportant issues, such as deviations, delays. Reviews constructionand site work related documentation including Method Statements,Work Instructions, and risk mitigation procedures in particular.
Participates in TRA sessions. Provides input into constructioncompletion dossiers. Monitors quality and performance of workscarried out by contractors /subcontractors. Attend to stage wiseRFI (Request For Inspection) calls and provide clearance of work.
Report project work progress and related issues includingcost,performance and concerns on work-in-hand. Identifies problemareas affecting construction schedule or path and discussesresolution and options with line-managers.

Interfaces withcontractors / subcontractors and site management team to ensurethat the works are being completed within the agreed timeframe andbudget, and according to the defined quality specifications.

Participates in regular Site Progress Meetings with contractors toreview progress and performance. Identifies and highlightstechnical and constructability issues and raises them withLine

• Manager and contractors' site supervisors andcommunicates to main/primary contractor for action.

Expeditesresolution of contractor's technical queries. Liaiseswith Production and Maintenance Planning regarding the planning andcoordination of construction and modification works, includingplant shutdowns as required. Liaises with QAQC to ensure effectiveimplementation of ITPs in all construction and plant improvementsworks. Determines logistics and resource requirements. Expeditesmaterials procurement as per schedules Liaise with companies andcontractors pre-commissioning teams in providing constructionassistance. Comments on and approves relevant documents asrequired. Knowledge & follow up of excavation works,shoring and shuttering, backfilling works to attend U/Gleaks.
