About you


As part of the Primary team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering the best quality lessons to engage and challenge your students.

You will have high standards and expectations in every element of your work.

  • Have experience of teaching English National Curriculum.

Specific Responsibilities:


  • Full time class position with enhanced PPA time to fulfil TLR responsibilities
  • To support the Head of Key Stage with the leadership and management of the Key Stage, providing clear vision and ensuring that agreed policies and practices are delivered consistently
  • To monitor and evaluate the impact of agreed actions within your whole school responsibility strategic plan
  • To promote and adhere to the school's vision and values and act as an advocate for the school within the wider community
  • To monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning to improve student achievement, using assessment data and other measures to drive standards upwards
  • To promote and monitor the ongoing professional development of self and staff, including the induction of new staff members
  • To encourage and develop enthusiasm and motivation for learning, positive attitudes and excellent behaviour
  • To celebrate individual and shared successes within the Key Stage to promote wellbeing
  • To empower the team to implement innovative initiatives that contribute to student success and wellbeing
  • To foster excellent relationships and effective communication with all stakeholders including students, staff, parents and leadership

Our Primary School - currently comprised of about 1,100 students - is a vibrant, fun and multicultural place of learning.

Across each Key Stage, our students enjoy a creative, skills based, curriculum delivered through 'I wonder' and continuous provision (EYFS), continuous provision /thematic learning (KS1), and thematic learning (KS2).

Specialist lessons for Arabic, Islamic Studies, PE, French, Music, and DT form part of students' personalised timetables, supporting further our broad and balanced curriculum offer.

Our class teachers are highly trained in programmes such as Talk 4 Writing and Read-Write-Inc, which we use to enrich the children's learning.
