  • Supervising and inspecting fiber optic installations on offshore projects.
  • Overseeing the installation, alignment, and connection of switch gear, MCCs, circuit breakers, and associated equipment.
  • Conducting setting and trip checks for circuit breakers and contractors.
  • Verifying installation quality and alignment levels for ancillary components and busbar connections.
  • Inspecting power and control cable connections, ensuring proper wiring and adherence to specifications.
  • Conducting insulation resistance tests and verifying insulation integrity.
  • Calibrating meters, relays, and switchgears to ensure accurate performance.
  • Checking interlock devices and monitoring space heaters.
  • Conducting earthing resistance tests and high potential checks.
  • Performing startup and operational checks for installed systems.
  • Inspecting cable trays, trenching, and conduits for proper placement and condition.
  • Conducting cable identification checks and ensuring proper grounding continuity.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, including Comp Ex / ATEX certification requirements.
  • Verifying validity of offshore certifications such as TBOSIET OPITO and H2S OPITO.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Comp Ex / ATEX certification.
  • Valid offshore certificates: TBOSIET OPITO, H2S OPITO.
  • Minimum 1215 years of experience in offshore projects as an E&I Inspector.
