Project Engineer is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to
completion. This requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing
several moving projects simultaneously.

1 Leading project planning sessions.

2 Establish adherence in respect to planning, scheduling and cost controlling in liaison with the Project Support team and secure agreement from management to proceed with implementation.

3 Coordinating staff and internal resources for assigned projects within area of responsibilities.
4 Managing project progress and adapt work as required.
5 Ensuring projects meet deadlines.

6 Monitor the execution of Contracts by the Contractors and ensure assigned projects are completed on time, within budget and according to the defined quality requirements through progress reports, meetings and Vendor/site visits.

7 Monitor the implementation of the total budget, schedule and quality at various stages of the project execution to ensure adherence to the overall approved plan.

8 Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
9 Designing and signing off on contracts.

10 Liaise with technical leads, design teams, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, installation personnel and commissioning teams to ensure that projects are delivered within schedule and within budget.

11 Support in preparation of cost estimates and schedules for Management endorsement in liaison with the project support team and stakeholders.

13 Ensure engineering design procurement and construction activities are undertaken in accordance with contractual requirements and specifications.

14 Participate in regular weekly, monthly meetings with consultants, contractors and project management consultants to ensure that the work plan is achieved in accordance with the approved schedule and agreement.

Ensure effective management of contractor's activities in accordance with defined contractual agreements and Dolphin Energy's quality and HSE&S standards.
15 Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
16 Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review.
17 Participate in designing and ensure the implementation of risk mitigation plan.
18 Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for assigned project to present it for executive staff.
19 Optimising and improving processes to have efficient execution and enhance the overall approach where necessary.
20 Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.
21 Managing large and diverse teams for assigned projects within area of responsibilities.

22 Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring "safe systems of work" and "safe conditions" are in place within area of responsibility.

23 Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading / taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc.

24 Ensures assigned staff complies with all company HSE policies & procedures and related initiatives.
25 Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by senior management.
