    • JOB PURPOSE
    Lead the Availability Section consisting of a team of Engineers to develop and implement Maintenance
    Strategies and Initiatives that will improve plant performance and utilization.

    Specific emphasis and focus shall be placed on projects and initiatives to:

    • Extend the interval between major shutdowns and outages
    • Reduce the duration of shutdowns and outages
    • Deal with bad actors and equipment that has an adverse effect on plant availability
    • ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Strategy Formulation and Implementation:
    Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Department's strategy and plans as appropriate
    to support Oryx GTL business needs and objectives in line with corporate guidelines and the overall
    Company strategy.
