- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design software solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain software applications, including but not limited to web applications, mobile apps, and integrations, using programming languages and development tools such as Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript.
- Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software solutions, and implement measures to address any defects or issues identified.
- Integrate software applications with existing IT systems and platforms, ensuring seamless operation and interoperability, and implement data exchange mechanisms as needed.
- Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting software issues, diagnosing root causes, and implementing solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance testers, to deliver software projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software development, and make recommendations for technology adoption and innovation to drive business value.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures for software development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are preferred.
- Proven experience working as an application analyst or software developer, with at least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software solutions in a corporate environment.
- Strong technical expertise in software development languages and frameworks, such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL, and familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, ) and mobile app development platforms (e.g., iOS, Android) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and identify innovative solutions to drive business value.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in the energy or industrial sector is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in Qatar.
