Job Title:
Coffeeshop Supervisor / Head Barista

Responsibilities:

Manage the overall operations of the coffee bar, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
Supervise and train coffee bar staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Create work schedules and assign tasks to the coffee bar team, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
Provide guidance and support to staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring prompt and friendly service, resolving customer complaints, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Ensure the quality and consistency of coffee and beverage preparations, following established recipes and standards.
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for coffee beans, supplies, and ingredients, and oversee stock rotation to minimize waste.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and promote special promotions or events.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for coffee bar staff, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, equipment, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Stay uptodate with industry trends, new coffee brewing techniques, and specialty coffee offerings, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a coffee bar or similar food and beverage establishment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or head barista role.
Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espressobased beverages, and specialty coffee offerings.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in using coffee bar equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
