Job Purpose:

Conduct, interpret, and participate in reservoir data gathering, evaluations, related reservoir surveillance activities, and reservoir development/studies with some supervision. Support the planning and execution of various development projects for sustaining 77 MTPA and 126 MTPA.

Key Job Accountabilities - I:

Participate in the preparation of reservoir downhole and production surface tests, production loggings, and subsurface/surface fluids sampling requirements. Devise well testing programs including gauge specifications, flowing period, and shutin time, etc.
Contribute to the multifunctional efforts of the Asset Surveillance Teams that are responsible for identifying, assessing, and interpreting well and reservoir performance changes.
Conduct duties such as collecting all data related to well testing, production/injecting and participate in defining requirements for operations such as fluids PVT sampling analysis, coring, special core analyses, etc. in liaison with Production Engineers, Geologists, and Petrophysicists.
Support the data compilation required for the planning and design of field development projects and review the various design documents. Identify data gaps during the planning process and highlight these to the respective Head.
Support the compilation of Well Information Summary documents and the endorsement and approval process. This includes the review of execution documents such as well execution documents, stimulation design documents, and test procedures.

Key Job Accountabilities - II:

Support the testing of data/appraisal wells (DST, pressure, and PVT sampling) as well as the testing of development wells through rig facilities based on cleanup and early performance data.
Support the Asset Development Teams with respect to gathering data and information for the planning phase of wells, the execution of drillwell projects and documentation after finalizing the execution and carrying out reservoir studies. Compare interpreted well test and fluids sampling data with previous test results and recommend action based on findings.
Participate in reservoir studies designed to improve well testing and fluid sampling interpretation method and use predefined tools and procedures to conduct analyses on data obtained from well and field tests to define well and reservoir parameters.
Participate in core reservoir engineering tasks, such as Production Guidelines generation, Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA), PVT analyses, analytical and numerical reservoir simulation modelling, etc.
Work closely with key stakeholders from the Petroleum Engineering Department and Well & Production Management Department in the preparation of data acquisition plans and its prioritisation, such as well tests, production loggings and reservoir/surface sampling requirements, etc.
