    Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is seeking for a General Manager - Waterpark who will be responsible for managing the Waterpark and targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

    One of the largest resorts in the Middle East, Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is an unparalleled destination offering world-class facilities and bespoke services for today's luxury leisure travellers. Sprawling across 3.5 kms of prime coastline, the resort offers 361 accommodations, the largest water park in Qatar- Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park, more than 20 restaurants showcasing global flavours, a beach club, swimming pools, a marina, luxury spa and a health club.

    What you will be doing:


    •Provide strong leadership and guidance to a diverse team, including department heads, supervisors, and frontline staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.


    •Monitor attendance, revenue, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, evaluate operational effectiveness, and develop action plans to enhance revenue generation and operational efficiency.


    •Lead and direct all operational functions including food & beverage, retail, human resources, marketing, sales, safety/security, guest services, and maintenance.


    •Supervise and develop a highly motivated and effective team of supervisors, managers, and staff to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and delivery of revenue goals.


    •Research and recommend new products and vendors to enhance guest satisfaction, sales, and cost control.


    •Manage all financial aspects of the facility while maximizing revenue and cost-saving opportunities.


    •Ensure compliance with company policies, business processes, and all applicable health, safety, and risk management practices.

    · Manage relationships with 3 rd party suppliers and vendors, including contract negotiation and compliance.


    •Develop and implement guest feedback mechanisms and use guest insights to drive operational improvements, enhance guest satisfaction, and exceed guest expectations.

    Your experience and skills include:


    •Previous experience as General Manager for theme park for at least 5 years


    •Proven experience in managing a waterpark, amusement park, or similar entertainment venue, with a demonstrated track record of achieving operational excellence and financial targets.


    •Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.


    •Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, stakeholders, and guests.


    •Knowledge of waterpark industry best practices, safety standards, and operational procedures.


    •Business acumen and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

    Operations :

    · Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for all guests and staff responsible for all aspects of operation including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions, and property to facilitate the fulfilment of financial goals and company initiatives

    · Continuously improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to operating standards and philosophies

    · Provide direction to the management team and ensure all staff members perform at a consistently high level

    · Promotepositive employee relations including effective delegation of managerial duties, fostering high staff morale, upholding operational standards

    · Monitor online reviews to ensure we are consistently meeting the standard for the guest or improving their experience

    Financials :

    · Capitalize business opportunities in the market area by executing company marketing strategies to drive sales

    · Maintain systems that ensure overall fiscal responsibility for inventory control, including pars and proper ordering

    · Assure staffing levels and management coverage is appropriate to maximize the customer experience while maintaining the labor budget for the business

    · Analyse financial reports and develops action plans to grow revenue and control expenses to meet or exceed annual budget

    Qualifications :

    · Ability to enthusiastically interact with others

    · Strong character and exercises good judgment in decision-making

    · Experience in hospitality required : Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants

    · 3+ years of experience in Facility Operations & Management required

    · Demonstrated ability in developing team members in areas of responsibility

    · Demonstrated ability to achieve expected financial results in areas of responsibility

    · Must be professional, energetic, self motivated, and able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude

    · Professional grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed

    · Adaptability, flexibility and general enthusiasm for the business

    · Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner

    · Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors

    · Ability to maintain and project professionalism, internally and externally at all times

    · Ability to establish and communicate a vision for the park

    · Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
