The Post holder willreport to the Qatar Head of Supply Chain for the Supply ServicesOperations Service and will be responsible for meeting agreed KPIsand availability output on a daily basis for all ML2 ML4 assets onbase through the Depth Bays to meet operationalrequirements.

RepairStrategy Optimisation will review the asdesigned MPol and suggestamendments based on contracted Customer requirements and value formoney. This will involve supplier negotiations and engineeringchange.

MaintainSupply Chain Data quality manage the movement and quality assuranceof all assets within Maintenix through the ELP including Part Minspection and the expedient resolution of all quarantineditems.

TheUpgrade & Modifications Management service will coordinateand control all Customer upgrade assets through the Supply Servicesin line with agreed modification plans and individual Customerconstraints.

Thepost holder will be responsible for building and maintainingexcellent working relationships with both the on base depth baysML4 order book service Manager IMS Business Support manager andCAMO Data Integrity Manager in addition to the Customerorganisation for the optimisation of repairable assets onbase.

Furthermorethey will be responsible for ensuring that the allocated resourcehas appropriate skills is motivated effective and at all timescomplies with Safety Quality and other internal and externalregulations.

CoreActivity

PerformanceManagement Provide effective leadership of repairs managementactivities by setting targets in line with contractual &business requirements monitoring & reviewing progress andachievement ensuring trends are identified and enacted upon thatmay impact on continuing airworthiness or contractual KPIs. Resolveand escalate issues asappropriate

Completion ofactivities Ensure all repairs management activities andtransactions are appropriately documented and records maintained onrelevant systems (IT / paper based).Responsible for the continuous development ofactivities including facilitation and management ofreviews.

Optimisation ofon base repairs through the Depth Bays and efficient management ofML4 assets to meet the operational requirement of the contract tosupport operational flying requirements and the capability of thebay planning and forecasting bay throughput to maintain serviceableassets instock.

SafetyManagement System Thorough knowledge of human factors errormanagement risk and safety management within a CAO environmenttogether with undertaking proactive hazard analysis andmitigation.

Ensure thedirection and objectives of ELP Repairs managementresource align with the overall Business and projectobjectives meeting any contractual requirements/key performanceindicators

Provideleadership and direction to the ELP Repairs managementteam in order to deliver agreed deliverables.Influence on direction also extends to customers service providersandpartnerships.

Performancemanagement of the ELP Repairs managementteam to ensure that total performance isachieved.

Provide supportin all contracts and Supply Chain sourcing decisions to ensure thatthe correct decision is made that best meets businessrequirements.

Effectivemanagement of project risks and opportunities including warrantiesto ensure that these are managed to avoid additional costs to thebusiness or opportunities aremaximised

Deliver/inputappropriate monthly ELP Repairs managementdata/reports to senior management so that effectivedecisions can bemade.

Manage andmaintain effective working relationships with all SC and CAOstakeholders to ensure that trust and collaborative working isestablished/maintained.

Support theimprovement and development of the endtoend supply chain ensuringthat activities are synchronised with (e.g. industry forward anddepth) Supply Chain operations and that other Government FurnishedEquipment (GFE/X) activities are managedeffectively

Management ofall budgets and associated reporting processes to ensure that costsare effectively managed andcontrolled

Ensure theinfrastructure facilities and resources are available to the ELPRepairs managementteam in order to deliver the contract toensure key performance indicators aremet

Responsible forthe development and deployment of ELP Repairsmanagement IT infrastructureand data configuration to ensure these support the CAO/Supply Chainstrategy

Promote thegeneration implementation and sharing of best practice across thewider CAO/SC community to support a total performanceculture

Completion ofactivities Ensure all ML2/ML4 activities and transactions areappropriately documented and maintained on the relevant ITsystem.

Responsible forthe continuous development of activities including facilitationdeputation and management of reviews wherenecessary.

Provideeffective management leadership for all calibration item bymaintaining serviceability rates and meeting servicing requirementsand monitoring and reviewing performance against contractual KPIs

Ensure anyshortfalls are identified resolved or escalated wherenecessary.

Provide supportto the team and compile appropriate reporting mechanisms toidentify any issues resolve or escalate as appropriate. They willalso be responsible for the facilitation deputation and managementof reviews wherenecessary.

Procedure/StandardsEnsure the team are compliant with the customer CAME/ 145 MOE andtheir associated procedures and compliance leaflets along with anyBAE Systems Companyprocedures.

ContractualRequirements Manage and support contract reviews and ensurecommunication of any changes into activities asappropriate

Compliance& Assurance Ensure demand management activities arecompliant with the Part M procedures in conjunction with the Part145 Maintenance Governance and Assurance framework. Support anyaudits (QEAF & BAE Systems) and respond to any findings ina timelymanner.

Providesupervision and coordination for a team; ensure that team membersare fully motivated trained and competent to generate work to astandard that meets the requirements of the business customer andthecontract.

Ensure thatdepartment procedures and processes are in place and adopted toensure safeworking.

Statutory /Regulatory & Legislation requirements Able to demonstrate adetailed understanding and application of the ContinuingAirworthiness Regulatory framework and ensure the organisation isadvised of any changes; Ensure compliance with all otherrequirements e.g.ITAR/WOME

Management andmaintenance of effective working relationships with allstakeholders

Liaison with(and provide specialist advice and guidance to) inventory planningprocurement engineering finance and line/bay maintenance in orderto overcome supply and demand problems. Liaison also extends toservice providers andpartners.

Analysis andinterpretation of usage and transaction data to identify repetitiveproblems and inform appropriate stakeholders and where appropriatesupport the implementation of any correctiveaction.

Ensureboth internal and external customers receive the level of serviceexpected of business KPIs; specifically the QAF Typhoon Fleetreceives what they need on time and to the highestquality

Monitorperformance of the Bays. Support the identification and acceptanceof alternate vendors asrequired

Conductanalysis and interpretation of Supply Chain data to identifyrepetitive problems and inform appropriate stakeholders. Whereappropriate support the implementation of any correctiveaction

Requirements

Requiresknowledge of a Continuing Airworthiness Organisation (CAO) SupplyChain operations tools and techniques protocols and procedures.Continuous improvement capability development and sustainment arealso an integral part of therole.

Hasstakeholder management skills and maintains relationshipsthroughout the CAO and Supply Chain (e.g. Maintenance EngineeringProcurement and Finance). Theserelationships also extend to customer partner and supplierorganisations.

Requires a goodknowledge of SC accounting systems (Maintenix) and associatedprocesses and procedures including the CAMO requirements in themanagement ofhardware.

Requires anunderstanding of how BAE Systems operates and how the role fitswithin this. The ability to set directionand manage change in accordance with both internal and externalrequirements.

Requiresexcellent analysis and planning skills along with excellentrelationship building and problem solving skills able to utiliseappropriate ITsystems.

Understands how to capturerequirements and interpret these in order to set realistic plansand targets and have the ability to manage change to these plansandtargets.

Good ProjectManagement skills across LCM planning budget control risk andopportunity managementcommunications

Leadershipand management skills are required to manage and integrate thevarious teams within the CAO andSC.
