As a Football Coach in the academy, your role is to oversee the development and training of young football players.

You will work closely with players of various age groups to instill fundamental skills, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship.

Below is a detailed description of the duties and responsibilities associated with this role:

Player Development:


  • Designing and implementing ageappropriate training programs to develop players' technical skills, tactical awareness, physical fitness, and mental resilience.
  • Providing individualized coaching and feedback to players to address areas for improvement and enhance their overall performance.
  • Monitoring player progress and development through regular assessments and evaluations.

Training Sessions:


  • Planning and conducting training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game understanding.
  • Organizing drills, exercises, and smallsided games to simulate match situations and encourage player participation and engagement.
  • Incorporating fun and interactive activities to keep players motivated and enthusiastic about training.

Match Preparation:


  • Analyzing opponents and developing game strategies and tactics tailored to the team's strengths and weaknesses.
  • Selecting and organizing the team lineup, formations, and substitutions for matches.
  • Conducting prematch briefings to communicate tactics, roles, and responsibilities to players.

Player Management:


  • Building positive relationships with players and creating a supportive and inclusive team environment.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to players, both on and off the field, to promote personal development and character growth.
  • Managing player discipline and behavior, and addressing any conflicts or issues within the team.

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Collaborating with other coaches, support staff, and club management to ensure a coordinated approach to player development.
  • Communicating effectively with parents or guardians to provide updates on player progress, performance, and areas for improvement.
  • Attending meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on coaching methods, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- license C in football coaching at least

  • Previous experience as a football coach, preferably working with youth players in an academy or club setting.
  • Strong knowledge of football principles, coaching methodologies, and player development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications from recognized football associations or governing bodies.
  • Passion for youth development and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment for players.

Job Type:
Part-time

Expected hours: 6 per week
