    On behalf of one of its clients, in the electronics industry, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Sales & Marketing, Director.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans / sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
    • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
    • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
    • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
    • Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
    • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
    • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
    • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Preparation of marketing activity reports.
    • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
    • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
    • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
    • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. Interface with airlines, agents and industry contact to collect market intelligence and trends.
    • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals, ensuring meeting customers satisfaction.
    • Support the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and credit management teams with the objectives to ensure customer support and satisfaction, and cash collections.
    • Comply with all the Sales Processes including but not limited to the Offer & Contract Reviews & Procedures as prescribed by company s policies
    • Comply with all health, safety and environment (HSE) regulations as prescribed by law and company s policies.
    • Take up the role of an appointed officer as required by the companys HSE and/or regulatory requirement when necessary. s) Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations.
    • Any other official duties assigned

    Requirements

    • Masters Degree holder in engineering or Business administration
    • At least 15 years in a commercial, business or sales & marketing role in the Aerospace industry, especially in high competitive market
    • Proven track records on sales development
    • Appreciates and possesses wide product knowledge and technical background in Aerospace aftermarket
    • Handle flexible hours and willing to travel within Asia Pacific region 50% of time and able to travel within short notice when necessary
    • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and computer skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with people of all levels
