    • Filemanage maintain and update personnel files. Includes legaldocuments employee contracts and other files related to theemployees.

    • Maintainthe database and make sure that all files are in the right place.

    • Sortrecords and document in accordance with classification standardsandinstructions.

    • Maintainpaperbased and electronic central file system by creating newfolders applying disposition instructions and tracking filecirculation.

    • Assistin the scanning of paperbased documents for inclusion in electronicformat in the system.

    • Carryout the archive policies about who can use archive materials andhow they may do so.

    • Respondto internal and external requests for information from the Officesarchives and records centre in accordance with the policy andapproval from the Line Manager.

    • Ensurehigh standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitiveinformation.


    Requirements

    Qualification
    High School Certificate or anequivalent diploma.

    Experience & KnowledgeRequirement
    Minimum of 2 yearsexperience in an archivalrole

    SkillsRequirements
    Organised withexcellent administrative skills.
    ITliterate
    Able to work in ateam
    Friendly and able to relatewell to a wide range of users
    Excellent verbal communicators
    Forwardthinking with an ability to anticipate and prepare forchanging uses of archivedinformation
