About you
As part of the Primary Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of a Key Stage, with whole school responsibility for Teaching and Learning.
To be considered for a vacancy, you should:
- Hold a good bachelor's degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
- Have experience of teaching English National Curriculum.
- Have previous experience of facilitation

Specific Responsibilities:
- To work closely alongside the whole school Director of Learning to further raise standards in Teaching and Learning
- To facilitate on specific programmes alongside the Director of Learning e.g. ECT, NPQ.
- To lead and manage a Key Stage, providing clear vision and ensuring that agreed policies and practices are delivered consistently
- To actively participate in whole school selfevaluation and school improvement planning
- To monitor and evaluate the impact of agreed actions within your whole school responsibility strategic plan
- To monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning to improve student achievement, using assessment data and other measures to drive standards upwards
- To strategically plan, promote and monitor the ongoing professional development of staff, including the induction of new staff members
- To take on the role of Safeguarding Lead within the Key Stage
- To empower the team to implement innovative initiatives that contribute to student success and wellbeing
- To ensure an effective and inspiring learning environment exists within all classrooms and communal areas with student's work as the main focus
To comply fully with the school's safeguarding policy and procedures, and take responsibility for protecting and promoting the health and welfare of students
