Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:


  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure costeffective and timely procurement of products, and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize terms and conditions.

Logistics and Expediting:


  • Coordinate and optimize the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouse/s.
  • Implement strategies to expedite the delivery of critical materials and products.

Warehouse Management:


  • Oversee the efficient functioning of warehouses, ensuring proper storage, organization, and accessibility of inventory.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse safety, security, and cleanliness.

Inventory Management:


  • Develop and maintain an accurate inventory tracking system.
  • Analyze inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Demand & Supply Planning:


  • Collaborate with sales teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to meet demand fluctuations and market trends.

Distribution Management (including Last-Mile Deliveries):

  • Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Collaborate with internal logistics teams to optimize lastmile delivery processes.

Operations Oversight:


  • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, ensuring all processes align with company objectives.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Reports and Documentation:


  • Prepare and analyze regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all aspects of the operations.
  • Generate insights from data to facilitate informed decisionmaking and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably within the hygiene and health product sector.
  • Indepth knowledge of procurement strategies, logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly experience with Sage, to facilitate seamless integration into existing processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and technology for operations management.
