Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary vision and standards.
- Actively engage in food preparation, cooking, and presentation, demonstrating expert culinary skills.
- Oversee daytoday operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient food production.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship as needed.
- Lead by example and maintain a high level of professionalism, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Assist in developing new recipes and refining existing ones, staying uptodate with industry trends.
- Step in to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Contribute creative ideas for specials, promotions, and seasonal menus.
