    • Acting as the senior person onsite responsible for administration of thecontract.
    • Leading, directing and monitoringthe performance of all site engineers and support staff asappropriate.
    • Monitoring the work of staffmembers for conformance with all provisions of the ContractAdministration Procedures Manual.
    • Monitoringthe contractor's program of works to ensure on timedelivery.
    • Responding with appropriate andnecessary levels of construction supervision to provide qualityassurance in accordance with Contractdocuments.
    • Advising and assisting theContractor on construction procedures and contractualmatters.
    • Coordinating the construction workwith the Steering Committee, Local Authorities andContractors.
    • Ensuring prompt exchange ofcorrespondence, submittals, RFI's and Change Orders to allparties.
    • Maintaining correspondence,submittal, RFI and Change Order logs in accordance with ProjectProcedures.
    • Preparing recommendations to theConstruction Manager.
    • Reviewing claims fromthe contractor and preparing recommendations for the Senior RE.Assisting in negotiations with contractors regarding the value ofclaims or any changes in schedule.
    • Preparingrecommendations to the Construction Manager.
    • Assisting in any negotiations with the Contractors regarding thevalue of claims or changes in schedule.
    • Reviewing the Contractors' progress.
    • Monitoring the work performed, the materials incorporated in theworks, the materials stored at the site and theContractors' manpower and equipment.
    • Attending weekly, monthly and other progress meetings held at thesite.
    • Identifying constraints and recommendcorrective measures.
    • Assisting in the finalinspection of the work.
    • Monitoring the finalcompletion of the work.
    • Coordinatingpermitting, approval and handover as needed to assist in smoothprogress and completion of the work. Keep the AuthoritiesCoordinator advised of all appropriate interactions between theclient and local and regulatory authorities.
    • Receiving and log all submittals. Distribute according to ProjectProcedures and track progress of the submittal review process.
    Prepare final responses to the Contractor's at theconclusion of the review process. Alert CRE and responsible RE whensubmittals are behind accepted schedules.


    • Preparing responses to the Contractors.
    • Preparing and transmitting all site directions andinstructions.
    • Ensuring the correctness andcompleteness of the As Built drawings in coordination with the AsBuilt Engineer.
    • Preparing weekly and monthlyreports, as required for the site record and/or provides input tosupplement reporting by the Planning Manager.
    • Observing the safety procedures followed by the Contractor. Issueinstructions as necessary to correct safetyviolations.
    • Assisting with directives fromConstruction Manager, Chief Construction Manager and theClient's Representative.
    • Providingformal supervision to individual employees within single functionalor operational area. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levelsand utilization of labor. Prepares and delivers performanceappraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to furtherdevelop competencies.
