To organize, manage and operate the stores in a professional manner with proper records of all transactions.

  • To control the spoilage, damages of the material and track expiry dates of goods in the stores on daily basis.
  • To follow and implement
  • First in First Out.
  • To maintain sufficient inventory and par stock of all items required for the operations and reorder the items as per required quantity from approved suppliers.
  • To liaise with senior managers on the ordering of goods which fall outside the agreed financial parameters.
  • To coordinate with Operations Managers / Outlet supervisors for maintaining the par stock of the fast moving items for each operation.
  • To check the weight, quantity, quality, expiry date specifications of all the goods while receiving from approved suppliers. Should not accept substandard, inferior quality items and goods. In the situation of nondelivery, rejection of goods, substandard deliveries or over pricing items, write the comments on the respective invoices accordingly, complete documentation and take the necessary action.
  • To receive & process all invoices and expense forms.
  • To verify calculations and input codes in to the Accounts system in an accurate manner.
  • To update the records of the goods received and goods issued to various operations.
  • To ensure timely preparation & submission of all paper works, reports and documentation of all transactions, activities To maintain cleanliness and hygiene inside and surrounding of store area, chillers and freezers.
  • To ensure that all items are stored correctly, in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and that no food items are stored on the floor.
  • To ensure that all issues are made against approved requisitions.
  • To ensure maximum security of all storeroom areas. Take physical inventory of the store on monthly basis.
  • To prepare monthly consumption reports, variance report, spoilage and wastage reports for all stock items. Update management on spoilages, damages and follow agreed procedures while discarding the spoiled or damaged item.
  • To prepare monthly food & nonfood cost for each outlets and assigned business unit.
  • To report on weekly basis to the immediate superior on the store operation. Submit monthly stock position, cost reports by the first week of the month.
  • To ensure the implementation of HACCP & HSE standards in the surrounding areas.
  • To ensure that the workplace satisfies HSE requirements & all staff meets the local municipality health (food handlers) regulations & health requirement
  • Ensure that requirements related to Food Safety (ISO 22000:2018), Quality Management (9001:2015) and HSE (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) are implemented and maintained within the department.
  • All documents/records related to Food Safety & HSE (where applicable) shall be kept up to date.
  • Food safety/HSE Policy and objectives (as applicable to the department) to be followed and updated.
  • To carry out responsibilities assigned by your reporting Operations Manager in accordance with Company's Policies & Procedures and any applicable state and Qatar Laws.
