Insurance Manager
Our client is urgently seeking an Insurance Manager to join their team based in the Middle East.

The purpose of this role is to oversee, manage, and evaluate the insurance policies of the company to guarantee that any risks and liabilities are covered properly.

Additionally, it is important to ensure that the company's assets and business projects are insured appropriately.


Key Result Areas:


  • Review the insurance portfolio for our client's Group of companies.
  • Analyse existing risks and liabilities in relation to the insurance carried out by the company.
  • Analyse and make new business proposals with respect to new insurance.
  • Strategy Development for insurance placement.
  • Assist with providing operational and commercial solutions from an insurance viewpoint.
  • Produce and evaluate insurance tender documents.
  • Manage insurance policy renewal and claims and file claims as necessary.
  • Advice on the extent of risk and appropriate level of insurance.
  • Monitor the collection of information and data required to manage existing and prospective insurance.
  • Manage and train employees of the company and its affiliates on insurancerelated matters/issues.

Experience:


  • Related experience which should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar industry
  • With experience in a managerial role
  • Insurance and risk via work and workrelated courses/seminars

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Knowledge of the marine insurance market
  • Understanding of marine risk
