Overview:

The IT Network Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the organizations network infrastructure in Qatar. They are responsible for ensuring the stability integrity and efficient operation of the network systems as well as for providing technical support and guidance to end users. The IT Network Specialist will collaborate with the IT team to deliver reliable and secure network connectivity across the organization ensuring seamless communication and data transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing implementing and managing network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Configuring and maintaining network equipment including routers switches and firewalls.
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implementing and managing network security protocols and solutions.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define and execute network infrastructure projects.
• Providing technical support to end users for network connectivity and related issues.
• Conducting regular network assessments and making recommendations for improvements.
• Participating in the planning and execution of networkrelated disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Managing network documentation and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in network technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Professional certification in networking (e.g. CCNA CCNP) is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing implementing and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Expertise in network security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking equipment.
• Handson experience in firewall management and configuration.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
