Field Service Engineer (IT Engineer)


We are urgently looking for a Field Service Engineer or IT Engineer who can do the Installation, Service, and support of X-RAY screening systems in Doha.


Qualifications, responsibilities and experience:


  • Experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting MS Windows based servers and workstations highly desirable
  • Knowledge of highend Xray systems (RTT/ETD/BPI) or computed tomography a major advantage
  • Have excellent ability to troubleshoot complex systems and logically work through problems.
  • Must have experience in a field service engineer role.
  • Flexible during times of change and reacts to project adjustments promptly and efficiently
  • Willingness to travel extensively at short notice and stay for extended periods (up to one month) as and when required.
  • Must be selfmotivated and work well under pressure.
  • Strong aptitude to learn and ability to obtain airport security pass
  • An Electrical/Electronic Diploma with at least 45 years of field experience or a BSc
Eng with 4-6 years of field experience

  • Certified in L4 maintenance of RTT/ETD/BPI systems, Post graduate qualification in
Electrical engineering desirable or a recognised qualification in an IT (Microsoft, cisco
etc) a plus

  • A good general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, hydraulic, electronics or
complex electro-mechanical equipment or systems. Or knowledge of HV Systems i.e.
Medical or Industrial engineering discipline.

  • Associate of Science degree in electronics or a related technical discipline or
equivalent military training or equivalent experience

  • 4 years of experience in field service environment, xray industry highly desired or
Bachelor of Science degree in electronics, engineering, or related technical discipline

  • Must have knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies, as well as wiring
diagrams and schematics.

  • Familiarity with test equipment (DVM and oscilloscope) and experience with high
voltage and x-ray producing equipment preferred.

  • Computer literate: competency in use of programs within MS Office Suite and
aptitude for learning specialized software programs

  • Must be team player with ability to work under pressure in fastpaced environment
with mínimal oversight.

  • Available locally (Qatar Applicant)
  • With valid QID & NOC
  • Will be able to join immediately

Salary:
QAR5, QAR6,500.00 per month
