Job Description

The role is to support a Maintenance Optimisation Project for a Gas Processing Plant.

As part of an integrated team with Client/End user Company, you will be responsible as subject matter expert in coordination with the Contractor producing the optimised maintenance deliverables, provide your inputs, coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.

Following actions are expected in this role:-

• Technically support, contribute and coordinate contractor's deliverables review through dedicated workshops with Company Subject Matter Experts for his discipline. Once a deliverable is issued by Contractor, You shall be in charge to review it, ensure it meets expectations and Company operational requirements/constraints. Deliverables shall be presented to Company stakeholders in an understandable and workable manner to facilitate review sessions and final validation by Company.
• Update deliverables as per review workshop outcomes
• Ensure Project deliverables approval by Company Management as per approved document Management Procedure
• Identify system condition (Plant or system condition required to execute the job) to ensure Maintenance plans are adequately built. All maintenance items and task lists shall be assigned proper system condition to enable adequate activities scheduling. Operational constraints to intervene to be implemented using System condition
• Propose and support Maintenance plans scheduling.New maintenance plans, provided by Contractor, shall be scheduled adequately considering current dates, i.e., minimizing extended maintenance intervals when transitioning and plant operational and environment constraints
• Support Data base cleaning and tidy-up post new plans loading.Once new Maintenance plans are loaded in Company SAP system, deactivation of all the pre-existing Maintenance plans shall be performed.Pre-existing work orders shall be managed adequately considering material reservation and orders, open service orders, and procurement plan.You shall be fully responsible to support any database cleaning activity and tidy-up to ensure smooth transition from existing structure to the new one.
• Support Maintenance Work Instructions (MWI) implementation.Maintenance Work Instructions will be provided by Contractor to describe maintenance tasks. The existing SAP standard text replaced by Maintenance Work Instructions shall also be managed.
• Provide End user training and site work follow-up to ensure new maintenance plans are workable.You shall be responsible in end user training support as required to ensure changes and new requirements are well understood and embedded in Company organization.User guides are to be developed by you.
• Collect end user feedback and identify gaps where applicable. Propose and implement corrective actions to address gaps.When WOs are generated through new maintenance plans, a close implementation support and follow-up through the Company end user is required by you to ensure what is implemented is workable and matches expectations.
• Exceptions Management and Punch Items
• Update Company referential document as per changes implemented. All organizational and technical document impacted by the MO project are to be updated, including but not limited to: Company Maintenance General Specification, Maintenance minimum requirements, Company Maintenance Policy, Inspection Tests and Maintenance Procedures.
• Ensure Maintenance anomalies coming from project deliverables are addressed to closure
• SECE Identification and Management in SAP
• Project Return of Experience (REX) Lessons learned from this project. Good practices that can be shared across Stakeholders and Shareholders organizations
• Accountable for
• Project deliverables review in time with the appropriate Subject Matter Experts seeking technical endorsement prior Project Management final approval.
• Accountable for the coordination and organization of review workshop
• Accountable for deliverable update prior to submission for final Approval.
• Accountable to follow the project deliverable implementation workflow end to end and as per planning.
• Work on End User Facility in Ras Laffan Industrial City, under direct supervision of client.
• 8 Hrs /day x 5 days/week
• Salary will be all inclusive daily rate. Days worked will be paid. Days off are unpaid
• 6 Month contract (extendable if needed)
• Immediate mobilisation if selected after interview with End User

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineer degree in Electrical discipline
• Experience as a minimum in Petrochemical facilities Maintenance activities including Maintenance engineering Project
• Must demonstrate good communication skill in English both verbal and written.
• Skilled in use of CMIMS /SAP/MS-Office software
• Experience in Maintenance Engineering, Maintenance Optimisation deliverables
• Experience in writing/updating maintenance procedures/plans is required
• Understands risk based maintenance concepts
• Understands various types of engineering documents and has a history of updating procedures
• Is willing and able to challenge, develop solutions and help implement
• Practical working knowledge (Hands on) would be beneficial
• A history of working on/maintaining electrical equipment, substation equipment, field equipment like motors etc.
• Good knowlege in Instrumentation in Oil & Gas Plants and their maintenance
• Qatar Driving license would be preferable
