Financial Strategy and Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for professional growth.
Ensure the finance team remains current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Strategic Business PartnershipCollaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of business decisions and initiatives.
Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial insights and risk assessments.
Present financial information to the executive team and board in a clear and actionable manner.

Treasury ManagementOptimize the company's capital structure, ensuring a balanced and efficient mix of debt and equity.
Manage relationships with financial institutions and explore financing options to support strategic initiatives.
Monitor and analyze foreign exchange exposures, implementing hedging strategies as needed

Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder CommunicationEffectively communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.

Risk Management
Assess and manage financial risks, ensuring the company maintains a prudent risk profile

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with other departments.

Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic financial recommendations.


Budgeting and Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Implement robust budgetary controls and monitor ongoing performance against budget.

Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, providing early identification of potential financial challenges.


Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to address any queries or concerns.

Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the integrity of financial information.


Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow effectively, optimizing working capital and ensuring liquidity.

Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange and interest rate risks.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to cash management processes.


Team Leadership and Development

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, and Master's degree MBA along with professional certification


Industry Experience:

Extensive experience in finance management, preferably within the leisure and entertainment industry or similar sectors.


Management Skills:

Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop finance teams. Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.


Personal Qualities:


  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to be persuasive, influential and amenable.

Technology Skills:


Language Skills:

English Language proficiency, Arabic language proficiency is preferable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
