Responsibilities This position description issubject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements ofthe program or company.

• Supervise the daily operationsof a Facilities Maintenance Branch trades shop in support of theFacility Maintenance Manager.
• The Trades Shop Supervisorprovides technical/operational guidance and supervision toemployees and teammates to ensure compliance with the PerformanceWork Statement (PWS)
• Operation and Maintenance(O&M) of facilities, infrastructure and utilities in thearea of responsibility through inspections, preventive/correctivemaintenance, and customer-generated work orders received throughthe facility work order reception desk. Support capabilities mayinclude maintenance sections (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing,Carpentry, General Maintenance, Sewage Treatment Facility and HeavyEquipment, and Facility Installation Key Shops). Qualifications
• Qualifications

• License/Certification, ortrade school in at least one of the following trades: Electrical,HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry or Heavy Equipment
• Must be CACeligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Facility Management Professional or Project ManagementProfessional desirable
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain Host Country Passenger Vehicle license

• Six (6) years of facilitiesmaintenance experience with 2 years in a supervisory capacity of asimilar project, department or branch related to these functions
• Must be able to demonstrate good oral, written andlistening skills
• Must possess strong knowledge in askilled trade (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and/or carpentry)

• Knowledge and understanding of the USArmy Public Works system and procedures is required
• Knowledge of the US Army supply and procurement process ispreferred
• Ability to demonstrate leadership andmanagement skills in a professional demeanor
• Ability towork effectively with employees and management of all levels toinclude multi-national staff, superiors, and senior militaryofficers
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Collaborative work style fostering cooperation andteamwork
• Ability to handle confidential company andemployee information with complete discretion

• Working Environment
• Must be capable ofworking in an extreme weather conditions with temperaturesexceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Indoor and/or outdoorenvironment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry,duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees inthe winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
• Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
• Physical Activities
• Medium work. Exerting upto 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of forcefrequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to moveobjects. Work may require, stooping, prolonged standing, prolongedsitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could existfor exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employeeuse of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for somesituations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso,respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must complywith all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
• Supervisory / Budgetary Responsibilities
• Supervise thedaily operations of a Facilities Maintenance Branch trades shop insupport of the Facility Maintenance Manager.
• Ability todemonstrate leadership and management skills in a professionaldemeanor.
• Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager inproviding a safe and secure workplace.
• Monitorsoperations of the facilities maintenancestaff.
