Operations Manager


The Operations Manager/Director of operations is a vital senior management team member who will be reporting to the General Manager/Managing Director.

This individual needs to be an experienced and efficient manager with broad responsibilities that range from managing day-to-day operations, maintaining control of diverse business operations, and providing strategic advice.


The main goal of the position is to streamline the process and secure the functionality of businesses to drive extensive and sustainable growth and to have a high percentage of successful completion of tasks and projects.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Plan and manage the daily operations of the and the work of departments (Administration, Business growth and Marketing) and the entities.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and operation managers of the entities to maintain and drive operational results and achieve strategic goals.
  • Generating revenue for the entities.
  • Focus on business development and expansion with new or current business.
  • Target achievement and variance analysis of entities.
  • Acting GM in certain lines of business.
  • Draft and create rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Review policies and procedures constantly and ensure this is communicated to all staff members.
  • Collaborate with other senior management to formulate business strategy.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Use the best tools to document and manage tasks and projects.
  • Evaluate business performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Work in accordance with the Finance department budget and policies
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the companies
  • Draft and submit executive reports to the senior management on all matters of importance.
  • Manage in expansion activities (acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) with the team
  • Manage relationships with related parties.
  • Knowledge of sales and trading business.
  • Create the operational manual for all entities.
  • Implementation of strategy.

Essentials:


  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role or any other leadership role
  • Familiarity with all business functions, including HR, finance, procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Expertise in administrative business functions
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Proficient people management skills
  • Experience with implementing IT systems.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting
  • Understanding of financials and financial planning skills

  • Bachelor's (required)

Experience:


  • Management: 5 years (required)
