    RD Nutrition ConsultantsLLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian 40 hrs/week in thearea

    Schedule:Flexible days/hours. Monday-Friday during normal business hours.

    Compensation:$36.00-$41.00 per hourDOE

    TravelCompensation: $ per hour (For travel time to and fromthefacility).

    Contractlength is 8-13 weeks with potential forrenewal

    Responsibilities

    • Conductsa comprehensive nutrition assessment utilizing the Nutrition CareProcess (NCP) for assignedpatients.
    • Develops and implements anindividualized plan for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) inaccordance with the patients medical program goals andobjectives.
    • Tailors dietprescription to each individual patient according to physical andmetabolic needs.
    • Utilizesevidenced-based nutrition practice guidelines and Whole HealthPrinciples to develop shared goals with the patient and formulatesa plan of care that is focused on the etiology of the nutritionproblem.
    • Orders labs, diets, andconsults per Scope of Practice / Clinicalprivileges.
    • Evaluates and monitorsthe effectiveness and outcome of MNTinterventions.
    • Evaluates thepatients response to care based on identified, measurable outcomesand reviews the plan, asappropriate.
    • Documents nutritioncare plan in the patients medicalrecord

    NutritionEducation and Coordination of Care:Assesses educational needs and providesnutrition education/counseling for individuals andgroups.

    • Utilizesmotivational interviewing techniques to evaluate patient and/orcaregivers readiness to learn and potential for changingbehaviors.
    • Identifies drug-nutrientinteractions and drug-drug incompatibilities and counsels /communicates with the patient regarding the impact on nutritionstatus and/or nutrientutilization.
    • Provides follow-upnutrition education/counseling according to the patients treatmentgoals and determines when a problem requires consultation orreferral to another provider orservice.
    • Completes MDS/Care planstimely, asapplicable.

    WorkSchedule: Typically Monday through Friday during business hours8:00 AM to 5:00PM;

    The Dietitiancan also work 4-10hr shifts perweek.
