About the job:


Kent is recruiting for
HVAC Technician (Electrical) that will be responsible for the actual execution of work assigned to the team including the preparation of necessary documentation of each piece of work associated with COMPANY procedure and safety.


Your responsibilities:

Primary Objectives

  • Responsible for the actual execution of work assigned to him including the preparation of necessary documentation of each piece of work associated with COMPANY procedure and safety.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Carry out operation and HVAC Maintenance activities on a daytoday basis.
  • Performs HVAC preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities safely.
  • Installing, keeping up with and fixing ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Addressing Electrical issues with HVAC systems.
  • System maintenance tasks like Adjusting and Electrical repairs works
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and appliance standards.
  • Meeting client demands, work instructions, and service standards.
  • Assisting coworkers and team members in achieving KPIs.
  • Performs trouble shooting and execute Equipment repair as necessary.


  • Perform Fans

  • Adjustments, replacements etc
  • Perform Electrical Live trouble shooting.
  • Follow the reporting hierarchy and report to your immediate Supervisor / Team Leader Follow safety procedures as per company policy.
  • Ability to read HVAC Electrical drawings.
  • Ability to perform Trouble shooting related compressor and fan motor failures
  • Familiar in HVAC, Reciprocating, screw compressor, Rotary compressor maintenance.
  • Need to work as permit holder.
  • Ensure COMPANY's Policies and Procedures are always followed.
  • Perform commissioning of HVAC units
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting inside HVAC control panel.

Essential Experience / Skills:


At least (8) years experience in the Operation, maintenance and trouble shooting and repair of HVAC Electrical System such as Power distribution, protection, Breakers motors and fully understand with Electrical drawing and schematic.

Familiar with Electrical component use in Hazardous zone classification.

Matching Indicators:


Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Trade Certificate, Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, interpersonal skill and ability to work in a team environment.

Shall be certified "CompEx awareness" certification to work for ATEX & EX type of Electrical / Instrument apparatus (Evidence Certificate is required).

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Trade Certificate

Excellent oral and written communication and skills.
