• Lead the evaluation of complexclaims and contracts issues, and provides recommendation fordefense or settlement.
• Provide comprehensivereviews of standard Tender Documents and Contract Documents toidentify and eliminate errors, conflicts, omissions andduplications.
• Review the work of, and providesguidance to, Contracts Specialists and ContractsAdministrators.
• Review existing tenderingprocedure and recommends improvements and amendments asnecessary.
• Provides advise on bidder deviationsand qualifications during the technical evaluation of thebids.
• Exhibit familiarity with terms andconditions of the different types of contracts and applies suchunderstanding of the terms and conditions in the work processes bymeans of verification against known or standardizedpractices.
• Perform due diligence reviews ofMemorandum of Agreements, Independent Power and Water SupplyAgreements, Partnership Agreements, and similaragreements.
• Interpret contract provisions tohelp resolve claims disputes, and queries submitted byTenderers/Contractors.
• Provide guidance oncontractual matters.
• Participate in thetraining and mentoring of less experienced Qatariemployees.
• Perform other duties asassigned
