    We are a Land Surveying firm withfour offices in Florida, specializing in land development, oil/gas,energy, geospatial mapping, and commercial surveys. We arecurrently seeking field crew members for our Riviera Beach Office.This is an entry level position, which the applicant must meet thefollowing:

    A Party Chief positionincludes all of the duties and responsibilities of the RodmanPerson and the Instrument Person.

    Responsibility for the assigned vehicle and all of the equipmentthat is checked out to the crew.

    Responsibility for scheduling routine maintenance on the vehicleand reporting any mechanical problems to the Mechanic in a timelymanner.

    Responsibility for reportingany problems with the surveyequipment.

    Responsibility foracquiring the work assignments for the day and all informationnecessary to complete the work.

    Responsibility for survey notekeeping.

    Responsibility for eachmember of the crew, including overseeing job performance, conduct,work habits, and providing training.

    Responsibility for the safety crew, including proper attire,ensuring that safety cones, signs, and vests are used whennecessary.

    Responsibility foraccurately recording and turning in the daily time sheet for thecrew.

    Responsibility for recommendingcrew members for promotions, disciplinary action, and/ordismissal.

    PhysicalDemands: The physical demandsdescribed here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individualswith disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work requiresusing a machete, shovel and sledgehammer or other appropriatetools. Lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. overrough terrain may be required. Hand-eye coordination is necessaryto operate various pieces of field equipment. While performing theduties of this job, the employee is often required to sit, stand,walk, go into water, use hands/fingers to handle, feel or operateobjects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, speak,and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb orbalance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell. Able to get in andout of vehicle.

    Pay: $ $20.00 perhour
