Job Brief:


Responsibilities:


1. Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial and industrial facilities.


2. Conduct routine inspections of MEP systems to identify and resolve potential issues.


3. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for MEP systems.


4. Troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve malfunctions or failures.


5. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and filter replacement to ensure optimal performance of MEP systems.


6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on MEP systems to maintain a safe work environment.


7. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on MEP systems.


8. Assist in the procurement of necessary parts and materials for MEP system maintenance and repairs.


9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to MEP systems.


Job Requirements:


1. Proven experience as an MEP Technician or similar role in the facilities management or construction industry.


2. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing fixtures.


3. Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards for MEP systems.


4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair MEP system issues.


5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with engineers, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders.


6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors.


7. Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment or materials when necessary.


8. Relevant certifications or licenses in MEP systems or a related field may be preferred.
