The individual mustpossess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be ableto explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essentialfunctions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Able to apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel etc. toproperty walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• Able toeffectively use brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Responsible for maintaining property colour scheme specifications.
• Responsible for maintaining and match shades ofparticular areas.
• Apply primers or sealers to preparenew surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wirebrushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
• Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protectionduring painting and posts appropriate paint signs.
• Cleanup and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriateareas.
• Take care of the area when the front of the housearea-painting job is being carried out.
• Always place the'Men at work' signboard when working in publicarea or guest rooms.
• Take rounds of the restaurant andother public areas respective in charge and perform paint/polishmark.
• Complete appropriate safety training andcertifications to perform work tasks.
• Report workrelated accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence tosupervisor.
• Any other job or duties assigned by themanagement as and when required.
• Perform other duties asassigned by the supervisor.
• Follow hazardous Materialmanagement program procedures for handling and disposing ofchemicals etc. using material safety data sheets.
• Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/orreport them to Shift in charge.
• Follow policies andprocedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment,and machines.
• Complete appropriate Fire and safetytrainings and certifications to perform work tasks.
• Emergencies – To be available for any emergencies and actin a professional manner to protect our Guests, Staffs and preservethe Hotel Property and its system. Follow Hotel Emergency plan.
• To complete the personal daily job record, time bookaccurately, and keep ready for inspection
• Ensure uniformand personal appearances are clean and professional maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information and protect companyassets Qualifications Qualification Standards Education Anycombination of education and experience equivalent to graduationfrom high school or any other combination of education, training orexperience that provides the required knowledge, skills andabilities necessary to perform the duties of theposition.
