Job Purpose Summary:


The incumbent will support QNB's international growth strategy, by leading a multi team effort that will identify acquisition objectives in the various target markets targeted in the strategy.

These targets if approved will then be steered by the M&A team through the acquisition process together with the Senior Management team and the various functions from due diligence through to completion of acquisition/merger.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Master degree University Graduate/preferred with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study
  • At least 18years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, CMA, CFA etc. is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1015 years' experience in M&A especially buy side.

Required Special Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting processes and related pronouncements, including but not limited to IFRS, IAS etc.
  • Welldeveloped analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Ability to build relationships across the organization to deliver results.
