Plan and implement marketing strategies to achieve long-term organizational goals by focusing on business development tactics by way of any suitable opportunity identified.


  • Actively market Shipping Agencies services, interact with clients regularly and build relationships
  • Responsible for estimation of bid costs, review and timely submission of Pre-Qualifications, bid preparation and submission in consultation with Commercial Manager
  • Review, update and finalize status of Spot and Term Bids status sheet
  • Timely renew customer contracts and ensure close follow up with clients
  • Provide market intelligence and analysis for developing business cases for investment in newer assets, expansion in new geographies
  • Attend conferences / trade shows as approved by Corporate and provide regular updates on market intelligence
  • Coordinate with other commercial/sales staff on market and commercial activities as necessary
  • Update CRM with new customer reports, visits, leads, opportunities, complain logs, lost business, and identify/coordinate with the Manager
  • Commercial on the action required
  • Support internal auditing processes, ISO and BSC audits and Enterprise Risk Management process
  • Populate and maintain monthly Sales & operation KPI information
  • Manage Sales pipeline of opportunity & forecasting into CX and Vendor community
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Shipping or Marine Engineering

Professional Experience:

years of experience in a relevant field

  • Must have admin coordination and document control experience.
  • Experience in a shipping sector would be a plus.

Computer Skills:


Language Skills:


  • Business fluent English.

Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:


  • Ability & tactics in reviewing local and international tenders
  • Excellent skills in preparing and finalizing project submissions
  • Sound knowledge of current trends in the shipping industry

Salary:
QAR10, QAR14,000.00 per month
