The Manager

• Business Analysis and Research Planning designs, implements and oversees a return on investment in research program across all research programs in Sidra.

Responsible for business analysis and integration across all areas of Research Administration including pre and post-award activity, administrative support staff, laboratory operations, technology transfer and clinical research governance; Responsible for ensuring that processes conform to all applicable laws, guidelines and regulations; Responsible for overseeing new technology to facilitate electronic grants submission and for making the office function efficiently and accountably.

The incumbent requires management skills that include an ability to work closely with research scientists to prevent and resolve problems, foster communication between various functional groups and identify opportunities to reduce administrative overhead and duplicative or unnecessary processes.
