    • Supports the Lead MechanicalEngineer, assists and ensure the liaison with the other ProjectTeam members as applicable.
    • Ensure that allactivities and works in the area of responsibility are done in fullcompliance with the HSE requirements of Qafco, Qafco 7 and therelevant Authorities.
    • Ensure implementation ofthe Qafco 7 Contract requirements in area of responsibility andreport any deviation to the Project Manager through the lineresponsible
    • Actively contribute to safetywalks, reporting of accidents and investigation ofaccidents
    • Ensure that the works are being donein accordance with the Quality requirements of theProject.
    • Follow up EPCC Contractor andSubcontractors within own discipline scope during engineering andconstruction phases in order to assure the quality and safetyaspects of the work.
    • Follow up EPCCContractor/Subcontractors with regard to interpretation and properimplementation of the technical content of the EPCC Contractdocuments.
    • Follow up and report on the progressincluding detection of deviation from theschedule.
    • Verify status of MechanicalCompletion activities and EPCC Contractor's achievementof milestones
    • Assist Lead Engineerincoordination of the discipline scope and activity towardsQafco
    • Ensure that EPCC Contractor schedule iscommissioning driven and follow up schedule and progress includingdetection of deviation from the EPCC Contractschedule,
    • Follow up and monitor all relevantcritical path activities throughout the Projectexecution,
    • Verify status of MechanicalCompletion activities,
    • Verify EPCCContractor's achievement of milestones in accordance withthe requirements of EPCC Contract,
    • Assists theCommissioning team in Punch items categorization, tracking andresolution for systems mechanicalcompletion,
    • Verify and close punch items inarea of responsibility.
    • Coordinateidentification, compilation and implementation of all lessonslearned,
    • Support Lead Mechanical Engineer incoordinating the training of the Company team to enable them toundertake the commissioning, start up and installation, of theplant within discipline scope,
    • Ensure that allimplemented Project process technologies and its operation aspectsare proven,
    • Participate and support inverifying the Performance Test of the Project when performed underthe responsibility and supervision of EPCC Contractor and confirmfull compliance with the requirements set forth in EPCCContract,
    • Ensure all tie-ins within disciplinescope required from the company are completed and ready forHook-up/installation in accordance withschedule/quality.
    • Identify, report and followup risks within own area ofresponsibility.
