This position requires an energetic andenthusiastic individual who will assist the College in achievingits mission and vision by developing technical, academic andoccupationally-aligned courses and programs, delivering qualityinstruction in the associated area of specialization, andsupporting learning and research consistent with the principles andgoals of an institute of applied sciences and technology.

Candidates should have an outstanding record of teaching andindustry experience, and possess the qualifications necessary to besuccessful in the role of Assistant Professor/AssociateProfessor/Professor, Dental Hygiene at the College of the NorthAtlantic - Qatar.

The Assistant Professor/AssociateProfessor/Professor, Dental Hygiene reports to the Department Chairand is responsible to support the School of Health Sciences in thefollowing areas:

The Assistant Professor/AssociateProfessor/Professor, Dental Hygiene is responsible to:

• Develop course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, instructionalmaterials, and assessments to create an optimum learningenvironment in alignment with the School's curriculumoutcomes, evolving professional scopes of practice, and industryrequirements.
• Deliver instruction to maximize studentdevelopment and retention, employing a variety of teaching anddevelopment strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Contribute to faculty, course and program meetings and participatein initiatives to monitor and enhance student success.
• Fulfill the role of subject-matter-expert through various programand campus-wide activities as well as external industry andcommunity engagements.
• Demonstrate a command ofeducational best practices within the discipline by aligninglearning assignments within practical industry-relevant contexts.
• Maintain course portfolio documents required foraccreditation purposes and engage in instructionalredevelopment/improvement plans.
