    SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION

    • Reports to: Offshore Area Manager (N+1) and Field Operations Manager (N+2)
    • Direct Reports (12) including satellites H and I: Operations Team Leads, HSE Superintendent, Offshore Inspection Engineer

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Acts as the On-Scene Commander in the event of an Emergency Response to ensure minimal harm to personnel, environment and asset.
    • Leading a team of over 160 offshore personnel in the safe delivery of 68k bopd production volumes and other short to mid-term business priorities for Site B and satellites H and I
    • Assuring all operations, production and maintenance activities are safely and efficiently carried out to ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures across 10 offshore platforms
    • Managing the interfaces across at least 6 disciplines to deliver on short to mid-term business priorities.

    JOB DIMENSIONS

    • NOC Offshore Field: Site B – Al Shaheen Field, including H & I satellites
    • Reporting Relationships:
      • OAM and other FOPs Entities:
      • CEO, COO and Internal Departments: Day to Day Operations As Require

    ACTIVITIES

    • Act as the HSE-Site Authority to ensure the health and safety of all personnel onboard and prevent damage to environment and plant
    • Manage all Downgraded Situations / Integrity Threats to ensure a real-time overview of risk level is visible, risk is adequately mitigated and a robust recovery plan is in place
    • Administer the NOC Permit to Work and other company Safety Management Systems to ensure strict compliance with company requirements and safe execution of all platform work activities
      • Manage real-time loss-elimination / loss-mitigation processes to ensure production / reinjection targets are met and volumes are optimized at field level (in conjunction with the Operations Center)
    • Ensure that planned maintenance, inspections, campaigns, projects and workovers are carried out in accordance with company requirements to ensure asset integrity and production optimization
      • Ensure that life on the site is conducive towards the personnel to maximize safe delivery of the company's operational objectives
    • Coach and develop operational staff competencies based on staff development plan from HR
    • Contribute to the continuous supply of resources within the talent pipeline for succession planning
      • Ensure all personnel have required trainings and competences to safely fulfill their roles and meet operational excellence objectives
    • Chair the daily Operations Coordination Meeting and monthly HSE committee meeting to ensure all personnel are aware of their safety and operational performance objectives
    • Ensure relevant company policies, standards and processes have been fully implemented in accordance with industry best practice and compliance with local legislation
    • Represent NOC appropriately and in accordance with code of ethics when interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
    • Promote cost consciousness across entire network of stakeholders in order to embed a strong cost culture

    CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

    • As the First-in-Command, the OIM is responsible for balancing the constant demand for well-being of all personnel on board while delivering on competing business priorities with available resources
    • Site B is an offshore environment with imposing limitations to work delivery.
    • This site is also accountable for all operations at H and I satellite platforms. This position is based on a rotational scheme.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Education: Bachelors of Science in any Engineering field or equivalent
    • Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in O&G production operations
    • Supervisory Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience leading leaders (Ops Team Lead or equivalent)
    • Management of Emergencies / Crisis Situations: Minimum 5 years' experience in this role
