    Understands Permit To Work System andMaintenance Management System. Knows the main power generation anddistribution system on the station and safe working procedures onHV/LV electrical equipment.

    Discusses the work scope with theElectrical Engineer, * Carries out predictive maintenance checks onall running electrical equipment such as Generators, Switchboards,control panels, MCCs, Motors, Transformers, UPS Inverters, DCrectifiers, Batteries and Battery chargers etc.

    for any abnormalload current, heating, smell, noise, vibration etc. and reports anyabnormality to Electrical Engineer/Production Supervisor toinitiate corrective action.

    * Carries out Isolations of Electricalequipment for all trades as per Electrical Standing Instructionsand in line with PTW procedures to ensure safe working conditions.

    Carries out de-isolations on completion of thejob.
