_ABOUT THE ROLE &


TEAM:
_

Leads Technology Platforms and Infrastructure Architecture on a project to meet business requirements through requirements analysis cross-team collaboration expertise support and project supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

_**- Identifies implements and monitors best practices for solution and infrastructure architecture while providing expert advice on both solution and infrastructure initiatives.

• Account for designing solutions for large or complex programs in accordance with business strategies, standards, and processes.
• Design/coordinate development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally including the selection of 3rd party vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Work with the other architects, development, and products engineering teams within the SITA Government business unit to products successful customer designs.
• Interprets software requirement and designs relevant solution and infrastructure architecture and performance modelling.
• Facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally.
• Ensures infrastructure installations and upgrades are made in accordance with established policies procedures and software licensing agreements.
• Support account teams or competency centers during the precontract phases (qualification proposals and contract) with technical designs and advice.
• Provide the technical qualification and own the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of current new or evolving technologies and SITA solution portfolios.
• Promote SITA by furnishing customers with comprehensive uptodate information on current products, product enhancements and new solutions through customer meetings and workshops.
• Collaborate with colleagues to gain and share ideas and opportunities.
• Ensure designs in compliance with Industry standards and architectural plans.
• Assess the viability and value of new technologies and patterns, working to ensure we align with the business's technical aims for scalability and growth.
• Manages and monitors the organization's technology platforms and infrastructure architecture and plays a leading role in the vision and development of the company's future technology.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:
_

• Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science or Engineering).
• Minimum of 810 years IT experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant environment.
• Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issue.
• Experienced in designing, integrating, and managing software solutions.
• Have a background in working in a systems integration industry.
• Proven track record in producing communicating and documenting successful technical customer solutions.
• Pre-Sales Business and or Commercial experience is a plus.
• A willingness to keep up to date with developments in new technology.
• An understanding of information legislation, such as the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the endtoend solution.
• Deliver and ensure quality assurance against the design during the project phases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Problemsolving and good analytical skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Team Player.
