Role Overview


The Ooredoo Group has evolved from being a national operator with a portfolio of international brands into one united Group, capable of delivering a higher quality of services and experience for its customers.


As part its transformation the Ooredoo Group has redefined its priorities central to which is the evolution and implementation of Ooredoo Group's Operating Model, enabling transition from a collection of operating companies (OpCos) to an integrated Group supported and enabled by a focused, high-performance core.


As the business environment becomes more challenging and complex, a sharper focus is required to build a sustainable talent strategy and act as a catalyst for a more unified Ooredoo Group.


This role is to ensure that the company's organizational structure supports its strategic objectives, promotes efficient workflows, and enables effective communication and collaboration.


The role holder will be responsible to manage the implementation of Performance Management framework and system, manage the HR policies and operating model, and to Manage the JDs and Competency Models Database.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing the overall OD strategy in alignment with both HR and business strategy and in relation to values, and desired behaviors, and cascade to local HR teams and key stakeholders.
  • Assess organizational needs of Organization Design, conducts assessments and analyzes the current state of the organization; identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in Developing organizational design strategies: Based on the assessment, strategies, and recommendations for the optimal organizational structure. This includes defining reporting lines, roles and responsibilities, and decisionmaking processes.
  • Change management: lead change initiatives by developing action plans, securing buyin from key Performance monitoring and evaluation; monitors the effectiveness of the new organizational design and makes adjustments as needed. They assess the impact on performance, employee engagement, and other relevant metrics.
  • Manage the Performance Management System strategic direction / fair process identifying high and low performers/ clear linkage from reward to the individual and organization by developing a link to the Balanced Score Card /KPI's for the organization.
  • Drive a PMS process which clearly supports performance improvement by positioning the organization PMS policies and procedures as a Performance Driven Organization.
  • Drive ongoing review and improvements to the PMS process based on market best practices.
  • Manage the HR policies and operating model.
  • Maintain and update the JDs database.
  • Maintain and update the competency models.
  • Support OPCOs in Performance Management implementation.
  • Support OPCOs in review of HR Policies and DRMs.
Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum 8 to10 year work experience of which
  • Experience of designing and executing endtoend organization development / design and Performance Management frameworks
  • Experience of managing internal and external senior stakeholders
  • Solid experience in leading and communicating change in an international scope.
  • Understanding of telecommunication industry.
Core Competencies

  • Business degree or equivalent
  • Advanced degrees (Masters or MBA) would be an advantage.
