- Undertaking detailed maintenanceinspection and supervision activities on the aircrafttransparencies & oxygen baycomponents
- Undertaking and completing taskedmaintenance & diagnostic activities on theTyphoon's Role components, which may include, asappropriate, inspections, repairs, modifications, faultrectifications, replacements
- Supervising theteam to ensure that maintenance is completed to schedule andhighlight any issues, escalate as required. Report on any impact tothe wider programme
- Ensuring staff aresufficiently competent and approved for the maintenance tasksallocated to them Maintain personal & teams taskauthorisation for working on an aircraft or components inaccordance with AMC requirements
- Responsiblefor meeting agreed delivery targets in the short to medium termthrough the supervision of others. Progress reporting againstdelivery targets to management
- Provide guidanceand leadership to the team. Develops team members using formalassessment processes, e.g. PDR's, supports and sponsorstraining requests including 'on the jobtraining'. Demonstrates sound and comprehensivecommunication and people management skills in order to exchangecomplicated information
- Ability to scope andcarry out independent and vitalinspections
- Maintaining personal Log Book todemonstrate currency and recency, on completion of On the Jobtraining (OJT) activities, sign other personnel's LogBooks as appropriate within your trade and skills boundaries. Ifyou are an approved designated assessor, undertake authorisationand task competency approvals, and check Pt 145 license applicationpacks prior to submission
- Demonstrate aflexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilitiesappropriate to the role and takes directionappropriately
- Maintaining personal &teams' task authorisation for working on an aircraft orcomponents in accordance with QAFrequirements
- Progress reporting againstdelivery targets to supervisor
- Undertakingsupport tasks within the Role bay which are required to maintaincompliance with the MOE and QAF procedures (e.g. oversight checks,control of tooling/testequipment)
