    Mechanical Engineering degree with experiencein Quality Control in multi-discipline construction environment.
    Preferably having formal training in QC and membership withrecognised charted or other professionalinstitution.

    • BGAS grade2 / NACE Level-2Painting Inspector, CSWIP 3.2 / AWS-SCWI Sr. Welding Inspector andASNT NDT Level-II Certification is a must. Other equivalentcertifications provided by internationally recognized organizationscan be accepted.
    • 10 years experience forgraduate engineers and in Oil & Gas sector. Experience inGCC is desirable.
    • As minimum, he shall havefive (5) years' experience directly relating toinspection/execution of construction activities, preferably workedin project management consultancy/ as client QCinspector
    • Implementing the elements ofQatarEnergy's management system applicable to yourfunction.
    • Your own safety and the safety ofothers who may be affected by QatarEnergy's business,whether or not the activity is under your direct control andproactively participate in all safety matters affecting theconstruction of the project.
    • Preventingpollution to the environment, either by you or by others inproject.
    • Co-ordinating / attending theinspection, tests and punch listing on behalf ofQatarEnergy.
    • Undertake familiarisation withProject and discipline specific inspection documentation to ensureunderstanding of contract requirements.
    • Implement quality inspection procedures on construction activities,suppliers, subcontractors to ensure compliance to projectspecification.
    • Ensure that the documentationgenerated by the contractor for inspections, tests, surveillanceand surveys meets the requirements of the Project QualityPlan, ITPs and projectrequirement.
