Job Summary Offers the opportunity as anexperienced Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Doha,Qatar. The role is based in customer office (Qatar Gasheadquarters) Essential Responsibilities
Provide skilledlevel engineering support for all current customer contracts, keyfield product application and/or completion product performance.
Develop Technical Operating Manuals (TOM), Hook updrawings, Operating Procedures System Limits, Decision Tree/Matrix, T&D, Tubemove models etc. and review them withcustomer and Houston Engineering teams
DetermineEquipment Specifications/Ratings, drawings, running procedures andequipment compatibility for the sales team according to customerrequirements
Provide technical trainings to customer andBHGE employees as necessary
Assist with well specificjob design based on applications and review with customer beforehandover to operations
Assist with technicalrequirements during pre-tendering phase & TechnicalProposals for Tenders submission
New technologyintroduction and collaboration with product line to implement it
Provide Engineering support for troubleshooting rigoperations
Investigate unusual or unsatisfactory productperformance to determine root cause and preventative action
Conduct all business activities in accordance with BHGEHSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements
Handlespecial projects as assigned Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering and 10+ year'srelated experience. Desired Characteristics
Exceptionalknowledge in Wellbore Construction products, including but notlimited to: Open Hole Fishing, Wellbore Clean Out, Remedial andSimulation, Through Tubing Inflatables, Wellbore Intervention,Casing Exits
Knowledge of open hole and cased holecompletions system
Thorough understanding of down holehydraulics, Torque & Drag, Tubemove Models & MSOffice applications
Able to work with little supervisionand to work well with the team.
Good Time managementskills.
Proficient use of computer based programsrelated to application of products.
