Operate within either a healthcare facility or a centralized setting, fulfilling coding responsibilities during designated shift hours and weekdays, in accordance with coding completion directives.


  • Adhere rigorously to coding principles, standards, and guidelines, ensuring a consistent and accurate approach throughout the coding process.
  • Input the assigned codes into encoder and abstracting systems to maintain an organized record of the coded information.
  • Interact with medical practitioners via established query methods, ensuring effective communication and proper followup on codingrelated matters.
  • Conduct thorough quality assessments to verify the integrity of coding procedures, guaranteeing the precise compilation of healthrelated data and information.

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Health Science, Health Informatics, or a related field in Science or Healthcare Management.
  • Possession of certifications like CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or an equivalent certification from an internationally recognized professional coding certification organization.

Experience:


  • A minimum of 2 years of handson experience in Certified Clinical Coding.
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft spreadsheet software.
