Recruitments and ensuring the quality of personnel, being hired are qualified with minimum set requirements. Setting up of HR policies and reviewing the set parameters are in line with the market requirements. Was also actively involved in setting up of ISO and OSHAS Quality, Health and Safety policies, Operations and procedures manual

Experience in the establishment, operational of new, startup and running companies. Accountability of the Profit and loss of the company. Monitoring and ensuring the profitability of the company and ensring the KPIs set by the stake holders are met.

The job involves the selling of the rent a car services and leasing activities to the travel and business industry. I.e. promoting the renting of cars on daily, monthly & yearly basis.
◼ Am fully responsible for the profit and loss of this division, being the General Manager. Am responsible for the overall supervision of the sales and operational staff.
◼ Am also involved in the daily supervision of operations for the whole rent a car division. Had to monitor the profit / loss of the COMPANY. I.e. expenditure, income, recruiting of manpower, advertising, receivables, payables, etc.
◼ Workshop Regency Car Care (RCC) also comes under my purview. This includes all activities to do with running a workshop.
◼ The sales of used cars / Commercial vehicles generated through the return from lease / rental were also managed / supervised by me.
◼ Was able to increase the fleet size over five folds and revenue substantially, over the course of my time with the company. Restructured the company and set HR, purchases and credit policies. Was also actively involved and instrumental in the setting up of ISO, OSHAS, policies and procedures manual.
◼ Was responsible for the full P & L of the respective divisions and REGENCY FLEETS as a whole entity.
 

Achievements
◼ Increased the fleets size from 235 units to almost 1200 units in a span of 6 years. Also, increased utilization of assets from 42% to 87.64%
◼ Increased the net profitability, year on year by an average of 15% - 17% every year.
◼ Reduced the maintenance expenses by 8.25% overall.
◼ Reduced the cost of acquisition of fleet vehicles by almost 3.5%
◼ Was able to procure vehicles without incurring any major cost implications i.e. finance costs.
◼ Reduced the insurance costs significantly
◼ Standardized and set HR, credit SOPs policies and procedures with manuals
◼ Was actively involved in achieving ISO 9001:2015, OSHAS 18001:2007
◼ Was awarded “Qatar’s leading car rental Company” By the World Travel Awards, from 2015 till 2021
