   i choose to be a part of health care because ever since I was a child I knew I wanted to have a role in helping patients understand their illness and offer ways to help because I was a patient myself. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 4 years old and I remember not being able to understand what exactly was happening and what exactly am I diagnosed with. At that moment I knew that if I grew up I wanted to be like the health care providers who helped me get through difficult times by teaching me how to live with my illness at such a young age. After my diagnosis with diabetes I became a member of Qatar Diabetic Association that was funded by the government to help diabetic nationals and residence of the country to build a community and helped them with essential information needed like taking insulin shots and regularly checking on their sugar levels as well as creating their nutrient and teaching patients how to lead a healthy life style with diabetes. As a child I was terrified of the thought of having to take insulin shots but I remember my health care specialist at the association taught me how to overcome this fear with her calm manner and her clear explanation of the situation. After that I annually took part in diabetes camp designed for children and when I grew up I became a regular volunteer to help little children at the camp understand how to deal and live with diabetes alongside health care providers just like they helped me as a child. It's from these engagements that I knew I was interested in studying science in high school and later decided that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. 

i have graduated as a  respiratory therapy with a  diploma certificate  at The Collage of North Atlantic in Qatar and I wish i can expand my experiances as an RT .  I am very passionate about working as a health care provider upon Graduating and I believe that I can become an outstanding one, if I were to be accepted in this job. 

The time I have spent in my collage studying Diploma in Health Studies has been informative, challenging and enjoyable.  I was able to pass my respiratory therapy classes and I have a good background on a lot of aspects in this program with a lot of information overlapping such as, Respiratory Techniques where have leaned many major topics on psychosocial implications of illness and hospitalization, patient assessment, communication , oxygen therapy, patient transport and arterial blood gas, as well as , having to learn about the knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the human body system and also a background of cardiopulmonary physiology where it focused on ventilation, diffusion of pulmonary gases, carbon dioxide transport and acid-base balance and blood gas report. My time at my collage taught me how to be able to deal with academic challenges, I have particularly enjoyed studying for my respiratory therapy modules which makes me a passionate student that will work her best to achieve her childhood dream which is working abroad learn and gain knowledge and improve clinical work and critical thinking.
